About the Editor
Teri Albrecht is executive director of the International Office at The University of Texas-Austin (UT-Austin) and has been with the International Office since 1999. Prior to joining UT-Austin, Albrecht held positions at St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas, and Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Albrecht completed her PhD in higher education administration at UT-Austin, where her dissertation research focused on the experiences of undocumented students in institutions of higher education. She received her bachelor's of business administration and master's in student affairs administration in higher education from Texas A&M University. Active in NAFSA, Albrecht has served in leadership positions and written articles for NAFSA's flagship publication, International Educator magazine. Albrecht has presented nationally on a wide range of topics affecting international education.
